1) Individually or in groups of 4 , write a story targetted at 6-8 yrs old children .

You are to rewrite a Singaporean or Asian folk tale or traditional story using a variety of

Strageties such as rewriting the sotry from another character's point of view or changing the

Time - period. The theme is" New tales from old" . Your story must be accompanied by illustration .

2) Thr stories must include one of the following values :

a) Having the courage to face challenges and determination to overcome them

b) People of different races,beliefs or religions living in harmony and helping one another

c) Cherishing loved ones, memories and things that matter to us

3) DEADLINE : 23 MARCH 2009 ( FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL )
